THE
HOPE COLLECTION ~ Cancer
is the #1 cause of non-accidental death in children. Every year
more than 12,000 infants and children
are diagnosed with cancer. Cancer does not discriminate. It can strike
anyone at anytime. Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a non-profit
charity
whose mission is to eradicate childhood cancer. We support world
renowned doctors at five local hospitals.
They include: Children’s Hospital of New York-Presbyterian, Memorial
Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, The Hassenfeld Children’s Center
at NYU Medical Center,
Schneider Children’s Hospital at North Shore LIJ Health System and
Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center.
We fund research, state of the art equipment/instruments and parent/patient
care. PCF solely depends on our loyal supporters to reach our goals.
PCF receives no funding from the government nor do we receive any funding
from pharmaceutical companies. Our overhead is minimal,
allowing almost 90 cents of every dollar raised to go toward our cause.
No child should have to go though the horror, pain and despair of pediatric
cancer.
The eradication of this devastating disease depends on groups such as
